 How can I help?

My approach to coaching

I bring a holistic, solution-focussed approach to executive and leadership coaching, which combines a structured process with the flexibility for you to explore and achieve your potential.

As a warm, empathic, person-centred practitioner I offer you a supportive and creative space to identify your goals and flourish in life as well as work.

I believe my achievements as a board leader across private, public and third sectors, combined with life experience of challenging discrimination and adversity, yield credibility and insight. My innovative research in a holistic combination of analytical tools and creative methods enriches my practice as I seek to facilitate your achieving your full potential.

I offer a free initial half-hour discussion. The duration, frequency and length of coaching sessions is then a matter for agreement between us. Fees and packages can be negotiated.
My approach to therapy and supervision

Working with a “person-centred” approach, I accept you, your thoughts, feelings and actions, as you are, without judging you. While I have professional training and life experience, I also take the view that you are the expert on yourself. I seek to bring a warmth and gentleness to my approach, which can help us to face deep and difficult issues together.

My supervision training covers counselling & psychotherapy, coaching, spiritual direction, chaplaincy and pastoral work. I integrate Hawkins & Shohet's 7 eyed model, for the 6 processes of supervision (Leach & Paterson) and 5 tasks of supervision (a modification of Inskipp & Proctor). I also use creative approaches to supervision.

For therapy and supervision I offer a free first half-hour session to see whether we each wish to proceed. My fee rate is £50 per therapy or supervision hour online, £70 face-to-face.
